Rep. Pierson Statement on Broadband Grant Award
SAINT PAUL, MN – Rep. Nels Pierson, R-Rochester, released the following statement after Charter was awarded a broadband grant from the MN Office of Broadband Development to expand broadband in the Cambridge Hills neighborhood of Marion Township:
“I am so pleased that Charter will be receiving this grant to expand broadband in Marion Township. Broadband development is critical to growing our community’s businesses and helping our households, especially as more people learn and work from home. This award will help strengthen Cambridge Hills’s high-speed internet, assisting families with connecting with loved ones and completing homework.”
Rep. Pierson endorsed Charter’s grant proposal with a letter of support to the MN Office of Broadband Development.
