MINUTES

Representative Nelson, Chair of the State Government Finance Committee, called the meeting to order at 9:02 AM, April 11, 2019 in Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

The following gave an overview of the fiscal notes on HF4 and HF6:
Ray Smith, Director of Finance, Office of the Attorney General

Representative Huot moved that the minutes from the committee meeting on April 9th, 2019 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

The meeting adjourned at 9:47 AM.

  • HF4 (Lesch) - Drug manufacturer or wholesale distributor prohibited from charging unconscionable prices for prescription drugs; Board of Pharmacy, commissioner of human services, and health plan companies required to notify the attorney general of certain prescription drug price increases; attorney general authorized to take action against drug manufacturers and wholesalers related to price increases; civil penalties imposed; and money appropriated.
  • HF6 (Mahoney) - Wage theft prohibited, wage payment modified, civil and criminal penalties increased, administrative review allowed, and money appropriated.
