MINUTES

Representative Nelson, Chair of the State Government Finance Committee, called the meeting to order at 8:03 AM, March 21, 2019 in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Chair Nelson moved HF1863 be held over for inclusion in the Division Omnibus Bill.

HF1863 (Lillie); Appropriating money for state employee salaries in the event of nonappropriation.

Chair Nelson held HF1863 over for possible inclusion in the Division Omnibus Bill.

Chair Nelson moved HF136 be rereferred to the Committee on Ways and Means, with a recommendation that it be referred to the Division on Jobs and Economic Development Finance.

HF136 (Stephenson); Prohibiting certain activities by Internet service providers serving Minnesota customers and those under contract to the state or political subdivisions; authorizing monetary fines.

Representative Long moved HF1644 be held over for possible inclusion in the Division Omnibus Bill.

HF1644 (Long); Requiring multiunit residential facilities to provide access to employees of the United States Census; establishing a Census 2020 Mobilization Partnership program; appropriating money to support certain outreach initiatives to encourage participation in the 2020 federal census.
