MINUTES

Representative Nelson, Chair of the State Government Finance Committee, called the meeting to order at 8:08 AM, February 6, 2019 in the Basement Hearing Room of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

A quorum was present.

HF 129 (Sundin); A bill for an act relating to state government; requiring compensation and expense reimbursement for public members of the Governor’s Council on Developmental Disabilities; amending Minnesota Statutes 2018, section 16B.054.

Representative Nelson moved to re-refer HF 129 to the Committee on Ways and Means with a recommendation that it be placed on the General Register.

The following testified on HF 129:

Representative Albright moved to amend HF129 with the H0129A1 amendment.

The following testified on the H0129A1 amendment:
Laurie Beyer-Kropuenske, Director of Community Services, Minnesota Department of Administration
Representative Albright renewed his motion on the H0129A1 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS NOT ADOPTED.

Representative Nelson renewed the motion to re-refer HF 129 to the Committee on Ways and Means with a recommendation that it be placed on the General Register. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Long moved that the minutes from the committee meeting on February 5, 2019 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

The following gave a review of the Office of the Minnesota Attorney General:

The meeting was adjourned at 9:20 AM.
