MINUTES

Representative Considine, Chair of the Corrections Division, called the meeting to order at 8:04 A.M. on February 27th, 2019, in Room 10 of the State Office Building

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

The committee recessed at 8:05

The committee reconvened at 8:21

A quorum was present at 8:21

Rep. Christensen moved to adopt the minutes the minutes from February 26th, 2019. THE MOTION PREVAILED

HF 1575 (Sandell) Jails authorized to share inmate mental illness information with a local county social services agency.

Rep. Sandell presented HF 1575.

Chair Considine moved the HF1575A1 amendment. Amendment was adopted.

Chair Considine moved that HF 1575 be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill.

HF 493 (Zerwas) State correctional institution administrative and disciplinary segregation use guidelines established, and report required.

Rep. Zerwas moved that HF 493 be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill.

Rep. Zerwas moved the HF493A1 amendment. Amendment was adopted.

Chair Considine moved to reconsider the motion to lay over HF 1399 for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
