MINUTES

Representative Mariani, Chair of the Public Safety and Criminal Justice Reform Finance and Policy Division, called the meeting to order at 12:48 P.M. on February 18th, 2020, in room 120 of the State Capitol Building. A quorum was present.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Christensen moved to approve the minutes for the February 13th, 2020 meeting. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE MINUTES WERE ADOPTED.

HF 734 (Gomez) Sex offense statute of limitations eliminated.

Chair Mariani moved to adopt the A1 Amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Chair Mariani moved to re-refer HF734, as amended, to the Committee on Ways and Means. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 2586 (Gomez) U-Visa certification documents timely process required by certifying entities.

Chair Mariani moved to adopt the DE1 Amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
