MINUTES

Representative Mariani, Chair of the Public Safety and Criminal Justice Reform Finance and Policy Division, called the meeting to order at 12:53 P.M. on April 3rd, 2019, in room 120 of the State Capitol Building. A quorum was present.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Dehn presented HF2361.

HF1638 (Gomez) - MAD DADS (Men Against Destruction, Defending Against Drugs and Social Disorder) underserved communities services and programs grant funding provided, and money appropriated.

Representative Gomez presented HF1638.

Chair Mariani laid HF1638 over for possible inclusion in an omnibus bull.

Vice- Chair Edelson moved to approve the minutes for the April 2nd, 2019 meeting. THE MOTION PREVAILED.



HF2649 (Pinto) - African American Youth Access and African Immigrant Family Outreach nonviolence program grant established, and money appropriated.

Representative Pinto presented HF2649.

HF418 (Moller) - Criminal sexual conduct statutory reform working group created, report required, and money appropriated.

Representative Moller presented HF418.

Representative Moller moved to return HF418 to the Committee on Ways and Means. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
