MINUTES

Representative Mariani, Chair of the Public Safety and Criminal Justice Reform Finance and Policy Division, called the meeting to order at 12:48 P.M. on March 6th, 2019, in room 120 of the State Capitol Building. A quorum was present.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Johnson moved to approve the minutes for the March 5th, 2019 meeting. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Dehn moved to re-refer HF40 to the Committee on Ways and Means. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 1934 (Gomez) Community Corrections Act subsidy increased, and money appropriated.

Representative Dehn moved to amend HF1934 with the A1 Amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Gomez presented HF1934.

Tom Adkins, Director of Washington County Community Corrections.

Representative Dehn moved to re-refer HF1934, as amended, to the Committee on Ways and Means. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
