MINUTES


Representative Lesch, Chair of the Judiciary Finance and Civil Law Division Committee, called the meeting to order at 9:45 a.m. on Tuesday, April 3, 2019 in Room 10 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Lesch began the meeting at 9:45 a.m. A quorum was present.

Representative Noor moved the minutes from March 28, 2019 for approval. THE MOTION PREVAILED.



HF 285 (Koznick) Department of Human Services and Metropolitan Council data sharing for transportation purposes authorized.
Representative Lesch recommended HF 285 be re-referred to the Ways and Means Committee.
Representative Johnson moved the A1 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Lesch renewed his motion to re-refer HF 285 to the Ways and Means Committee. THE MOTION PREVAILED.
HF 285, as amended, was re-referred to the Ways and Means Committee.

HF 2051 (Elkins) Insurance; model regulation conformity changes made, and federally conforming changes made to supplemental Medicare coverage.
Representative Considine moved re-refer HF 2051 to the General Register.
Representative Lesch moved the A2 amendment.

Representative Cantrell motioned to re-refer HF 1146 to the Ways and Means Committee.

Representative Cantrell renewed his motion to re-refer HF 1146 to the Ways and Means Committtee. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 1146 was re-referred to the Ways and Means Committee.


HF 1349 (O’Neill) Treatment courts funding provided, and money appropriated.
Representative O’Neill motioned for HF 1349 to be paid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus financial bill.
Representative O’Neill moved the A19-0350 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
