MINUTES

Representative Bernardy, Chair of the Higher Education Finance & Policy Division, called the meeting to order at 2:33 P.M. on March 20, 2019, in Room 10 of the State Office Building. A quorum was present.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Vang moved to approve the minutes from March 19, 2019. THE MOTION PREVAILS.

H.F. 706 (Dehn) – University of Minnesota’s Robert J. Jones Urban Research and Outreach Engagement Center funding provided and money appropriated.

Chair Bernardy moved H.F. 706 to be laid over for possible inclusion in the Higher Education omnibus bill.

Chair Bernardy renewed her motion that H.F. 706 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Higher Education omnibus bill.

H.F. 2427 (Bierman) Post-secondary institutions offering training to concurrent enrollment course teachers, report required, and money appropriated.

Chair Bernardy moved that H.F. 2427 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Higher Education omnibus bill.

Vice Chair Pryor moved H.F. 2366 to be laid over for possible inclusion in the Higher Education omnibus bill.
