MINUTES

Representative Paul Marquart, Chair of the Committee, called the meeting to order at 8:00 A.M. on, Thursday, March 28, 2019, in Room 5 of the State Office Building. A quorum was present.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Brand moved that the minutes of March 27, 2019 be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 2530 (Schultz) Dividends received deduction for debt financed stock reduced

Representative Schultz moved HF 2530 be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill.

Representative Schultz presented HF 2530.

Representative Schultz renewed her motion that HF 2530 be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill.

HF 1809 (Theis) June accelerated payments repealed

Representative Erickson moved HF 1809 be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill.

HF 2642 (Gomez) Income tax subtraction section 529 repealed, and state grant program funding increased

Representative Gomez moved HF 2642 be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill.

Representative Gomez moved to amend HF 2642 as follows:

Page 1, delete Section 1

Representative Fabian requested a roll call vote on the oral amendment.

The Committee Legislative Assistant took the roll.
