Representative Paul Marquart, Chair of the Committee, called the meeting to order at 8:00 A.M. on, Thursday, February 21, 2019, in Room 5 of the State Office Building. A quorum was present.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Becker-Finn moved that the minutes of February 20, 2019 be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 1122 (Lien) Federal tax law conforming changes made, and unreimbursed employee expenses itemized deduction allowed

Representative Lien moved that HF 1122 be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill.

Representative Lien renewed his motion that HF 1122 be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill.

HF 1154 (Xiong, T) Unrelated business taxable income definition modified

Representative Xiong moved that HF 1154 be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill.

Representative Xiong renewed his motion that HF 1154 be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill.

HF 215 (Anderson) Melrose; sales tax exemption extended for rebuilding properties destroyed by fire

Representative Fabian moved that HF 215 be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill.

Representative Fabian moved the H0215A1 amendment. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Anderson presented the bill.

Representative Fabian renewed his motion that HF 215, as amended, be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill.

HF 695 (Drazkowski) Providing a sales tax exemption for certain construction materials

Representative Lislegard moved that HF 695 be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill.

Representative Drazkowski presented the bill.

Representative Lislegard renewed his motion that HF 695 be laid over for possible inclusion in the omnibus bill.

The meeting was adjourned at 8:35 A.M.
