Order of Business
Note: The following Orders of Business are prepared prior to the convening of Session and are not official until action has been taken by the House. Check the House Daily Journal for the official action.

Rule 1.03 Order of Business After the reading of the Journal, the order of business of the day shall be:
- Presentation of petitions or other communications
- Reports of standing committees and divisions
- Second reading of House bills
- Second reading of Senate bills
- Reports of select committees
- Introduction and first reading of House bills
- Consideration of messages from the Senate
- First reading of Senate bills
- Consent Calendar
- Calendar for the day
- Supplemental Calendar for the Day
- Motions and resolutions
Conference Committee Reports on House bills may be taken at any time.
Rule 1.22 - Fiscal Calendar, According to House Rule 1.22
the Fiscal Calendar is any bill relating to taxes or raising revenue or any finance bill, which has had its second reading, must be acted
upon whenever requested by the Chair of the Committee on Ways and Means or the Chair of the Committee on Taxes or a
designee of either Chair.
The General Register is a list of all bills that have had
two prior readings (except those placed on the Consent Calendar under rule1.23) and have been reported out of one or more standing
committees.
The Comparison Reports is a list of bills referred to the Chief Clerk for comparison and found to be either identical or identical with certain exceptions.
