PROPERTY TAX DIVISION MINUTES

Representative Dave Lislegard, Chair of the Division on Property Tax, called the meeting to order at 10:34 AM on February 8, 2023 in Room 5 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Vice Chair Lee moved that the minutes of February 1, 2023, be adopted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 1099 (Anderson) Property tax provisions modified, solar energy generating systems provisions modified, and classification of real property provisions modified.

Representative Anderson moved that HF 1099 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Property Tax Division omnibus bill.

Representative Anderson moved the H1099A1 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Anderson presented HF 1099 as amended.

Representative Anderson renewed the motion that HF 1099 as amended be laid over for possible inclusion in the Property Tax Division omnibus bill. The bill as amended was laid over.

HF 178 (Stephenson) Property tax provisions modified, and energy storage system tax exemption established.

Chair Lislegard moved that HF 178 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Property Tax Division omnibus bill.

Chair Lislegard moved the H0178DE2 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Stephenson presented HF 178 as amended.

Chair Lislegard moved that HF 1061 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Property Tax Division omnibus bill.

Chair Lislegard moved that HF 307 (Richardson) be laid over for possible inclusion in the Property Tax Division omnibus bill.

Chair Lislegard moved the H0307A1 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.
