TAXES MINUTES

Representative Aisha Gomez, Chair of the Committee on Taxes, called the meeting to order at 1:01 PM on February 7, 2023 in Room 5 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Vice Chair Norris moved the minutes from February 2, 2023. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF73 (Robbins) Parents of stillborn children credit modified.

Representative Robbins moved that HF73 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Taxes Omnibus bill.

Representative Robbins presented HF73.

Representative Robbins renewed the motion that HF73 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Taxes Omnibus bill. The bill was laid over.

HF916 (Agbaje) Tax expenditure provisions modified, and past tax expenditure purpose statements provided.

Representative Agbaje moved that HF916 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Taxes Omnibus bill.

Representative Agbaje presented HF916.

Representative Agbaje renewed the motion that HF916 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Taxes Omnibus bill. The bill was laid over.

HF1372 (Gomez) Various policy and technical changes made to individual income and corporate franchise taxes, fire and police state aids, tax-related data practices provisions, and other miscellaneous taxes and tax provisions.

Chair Gomez moved that HF1372 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Taxes Omnibus bill.

Chair Gomez presented HF1372.
