MINUTES

Representative Michael Nelson, Chair of the Labor and Industry Finance and Policy Committee, called the meeting to order at 1:01 PM on February 14, 2023 in Room 10 of the State Office Building. It was broadcast via House Public Information Services.

A quorum was present.

Representative Mekeland moved to approve the minutes from February 9, 2023. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 23 (Wolgamott); Safe workplaces for meat and poultry processing workers provided, rulemaking authorized, report required, and money appropriated.

Representative Wolgamott moved that HF 23 be re-referred to the Agriculture Finance and Policy Committee.

Representative Wolgamott moved to adopt the DE2 amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

Representative Wolgamott presented HF 23, as amended.
