EDUCATION FINANCE COMMITTEE MINUTES

Representative Cheryl Youakim, Chair of the Education Finance Committee, called the meeting to order at 10:31 AM on March 2, 2023, in Room 120 of the Capitol Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistance noted the roll.

Representative Pryor moved that the minutes from February 28, 2023 be adpoted. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF 364 (Moller) Comprehensive school mental health services lead positions established, and money appropriated.

Representative Rehm moved HF 364 before the committee.

Representative Moller presented HF 364.

Testifiers:

Chair Youakim moved that HF 364 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Education Finance omnibus bill. The bill was laid over.
HF 933 (Rehm) Eastern Carver County; Independent School District No. 112
Representative Rehm moved HF 933 before the committee.
Representative Rehm presented HF 933.

Chair Youakim moved that HF 933 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Education Finance omnibus bill. The bill was laid over.
HF 1102 (Clardy) Elementary counseling services for nonpublic pupils included in nonpublic pupil aid, and money appropriated.
Vice Chair Clardy moved HF 1102 before the committee.

Representative Pryor moved HF 347 before the committee.
Representative Pryor moved the A5 amendment before the committee. THE MOTION PREVAILED. THE AMENDEMTENT WAS ADOPTED.
Representative Howard presented HF 347 as amended.
