MINUTES

Representative Liebling, Chair of the Committee, called the meeting to order at 10:30 A.M. on February 7, 2023 in Room 5 of the State Office Building.

The Committee Legislative Assistant noted the roll.

Representative Smith moved that the minutes of February 2, 2023 be approved. THE MOTION PREVAILED.

HF51 (Richardson) Emmet Louis Till Victims Recovery Program established, and money appropriated.

Chair Liebling moved that HF51 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Health Finance and Policy Committee bill.

Chair Liebling moved the H0051A2-1 Amendment. THE MOTION PREVAILED AND THE AMENDMENT WAS ADOPTED.

Representative Richardson presented her bill as amended.

Chair Liebling laid over HF51, as amended, for possible inclusion in the Committee bill.

HF1059 (Richardson) Grants supporting healthy development of babies during pregnancy and postpartum for families with members who are Black, Indigenous, and People of Color funding provided, and money appropriated.

Chair Liebling moved that HF1059 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Health Finance and Policy Committee bill.

Representative Richardson presented her bill.

HF639 (Bahner) Community solutions for healthy child development grant program established, and money appropriated.

Representative Bahner moved that HF639 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Health Finance and Policy Committee bill.

Representative Bahner presented her bill.

HF712 (Reyer) Family planning grant funding provided, and money appropriated.

Representative Reyer moved that HF712 be laid over for possible inclusion in the Health Finance and Policy Committee bill.

Representative Reyer presented her bill.
